Covid-19 Response

Dear Homeless neighbors and Community supports,

In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, the Conway Ministry Center has made the following adjustments to our programming:

Our Storehouse food pantry will continue to operate every Thursday from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Food will now be distributed to each family in drive-through fashion. Clients will still receive fresh and frozen items as well as dry goods each week.

Our office and lobby will remain closed to the public. All requests for assistance should be directed to our message system. 501–358-6098. Our Case Managers check messages daily and will return calls promptly.

For rental assistance due to Covid-19 hardship (loss of a job, reduced hours, extra childcare expense, etc.), the Conway Ministry Center is partnering with five other nonprofits to provide rental assistance for Faulkner County and the surrounding areas. We have created a separate hotline for rental assistance requests. Please call 501-358-6960 to begin that process.

The Conway Ministry Center will now be the central hub for daily homeless services. From 11am-1pm Monday through Friday we’ll provide:

• Hot Meal at Noon
• Nonperishable Food Packs
• Drinking Water
• Showers and Hygiene Items
• Restrooms
• Clothing and Shoes (when available)
• Camp Gear (limited supply)
• Mail Service
• Case Management
• Laundry Services Available Weekly

We know that life is getting even harder for you than it was before this virus came to town. We are praying for you and will continue to work at making the service hub better!

If you’re interested in getting involved, please email Spring@ministrycenter.org!
